Series Releases Driver Entry List for Season Finale

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 25, 2012)- The Global Rallycross Championship (GRC) at the SEMA Show on Tuesday, Oct. 30, showcases the world’s top action sport athletes and combines them with the best elements of circuit racing, off-road racing and rally competition.

The season finale event brings the top European rally drivers in direct competition with American drivers and title contenders, Tanner Foust and Brian Deegan. Timur Timerzyanov, reigning FIA European RallyCross Champion (ERC), plans to reignite the rivalry with Foust that has surged across Europe for the past two seasons. After placing third in the ERC, Foust is looking for some European revenge on American soil to closeout his 2012 rallycross season.

Tanner Foust, the overall GRC point leader, is going into this season’s final event only six points ahead of his teammate, Brian Deegan. Foust and Deegan will fight for the GRC Championship title on Tuesday in front of the biggest gathering of automotive enthusiasts just blocks from the Las Vegas strip.

The SEMA Show will host the much-anticipated rally competition on Monday and Tuesday in the Gold Lot at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Global Rallycross Championship course will be transformed into a high-energy rallycross super circuit with pavement to dirt transitions and a high-flying 70-foot gap jump.

General admission and VIP tickets are available for fans to take in all of the non-stop, door-to-door rallycross action.
