About the Event:

Marcus Gronholm won the inaugural Global Rallycross race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May 2012, but the 2013 event will feature a different composition entirely. Instead of being built on the fronstretch of the facility’s paved oval, GRC will utilize the dirt oval for this season’s race.

The Track:

Built on the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway, this year's Global Rallycross layout will be completely different from the one that opened the 2012 season. Drivers can expect to be challenged with a mix of dirt and pavement and the series' trademark jump.
